Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how PlanMySalesRoute (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use our iPhone application (the “App”) and when you visit this website (the “Site”). We built PlanMySalesRoute to keep your sales accounts and routes on your device by default. If anything here conflicts with a feature description in the App, the App’s in-product disclosure controls for that feature should be your source of truth for how that feature works.

Who we are

The App: local-first by design

The App is designed so your customer and route information is stored on your iPhone (for example using Apple’s on-device storage frameworks). We do not require you to create an account with us to use the App, and we do not operate a cloud service that syncs your customer list or routes to our servers as a core part of the product.

You may import data (such as from a file you choose), enter notes, and build routes on your device. That content remains under your control on the device unless you use a feature that explicitly sends information elsewhere—such as opening Apple Maps for directions or using share/export features you initiate.

Third-party services you choose

When you open directions or maps, you may leave the App for Apple Maps or other services you have on your device. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control Apple’s or other providers’ data practices.

This website

When you browse the Site, our hosting provider and related infrastructure may process technical information typical of web traffic (such as IP address, browser type, and general location inferred at a region or city level) for security, reliability, and to understand aggregate usage. We use Vercel Analytics on this Site in production to measure page views and related usage in a privacy-oriented way; you can read more about that product on Vercel’s documentation.

We do not use the Site to collect the same kind of customer or account data that you manage inside the App.

Communications

If you email us for support, we receive your message and whatever address and content you send. We use that only to respond and to improve the product as needed (for example, to diagnose a bug you report).

Retention

Data stored in the App stays on your device until you delete the App or remove the data within the App. Email support threads are kept only as long as needed to help you and operate the service.

Children

The App and Site are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have received such information, contact us and we will delete it where required by law.

California residents

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including rights to know what personal information is collected, to delete certain information, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell your personal information for money. To exercise rights that apply to information we hold (for example, support emails), contact us at the address above.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App or on the Site where appropriate.
